Tuakana Teina Reading

Today we did some Tuakana-Teina (big kid-little kid) reading. We took our Red Riding Hood character descriptions along to the students in Room 1 and 2 and shared them.

Scarecrows

We had a fantastic time yesterday creating scarecrows for the front fence of the school. Don't forget to do a drive-by and check them out! The theme this year is Wearable Arts.

SPRING IS HERE CELEBRATION SHRINE!


Taking inspiration from Mexican altars & festivals we'll use flowers, small sculptures, skeletons, garlands and decorations of all kinds to create a
fiesta of colour at Aratoi this school holidays!

ARATOI, OCT 4 + 5, 10.30AM - 2.30PM


$70 for a two day workshop with Janie Nott + Kathy Bartlett.
Suitable for ages 7 - 14.
Invite your whanau to the celebration of our installation on the second day.
