The visual language of cricket.
This year we are looking at Homegrown and our focus this term is Homegrown events and resources. So, because the Cricket World Cup is a Homegrown event currently happening around our country, We Are Learning To identify the visual language of cricket umpires!

I am no cricket watcher - but I could work out most of the actions from the fantastic umpire modelling in the photos. Thanks to Conall you filled in my gaps in language. All I thought of was .... could you turn those "poses" into a sequence and set it to a soundtrack - the sorts of sounds you might hear at Homegrown events like a cricket game.
